BJJ COACHES

Marcos

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Coach

My name is Marcos, and I am originally from Brazil. I began my martial arts journey at the age of 10 through Karate and have never stopped since then. I’ve experienced diverse styles such as Judo, wrestling, boxing, Muay Thai, and BJJ.

I fell in love with BJJ, have been practicing it for over 11 years, and had the pleasure of training with some of the best coaches in Australia, which helped me develop my own coaching style. I feel very lucky and privileged to have come across Lucas and the rest of the BFC team.

Tracey

Kids BJJ Coach

My name is Tracey McCurdy.

I’ve been training bjj for 9 years & competed for a few years, and I’ve been teaching Women’s Self Defence class for the last 3 years. My husband and my daughter both train bjj, It’s a family affair!

I love training and teaching bjj as I’ve seen in myself (and others) the confidence it can give.

My background is social work, I particularly like using my skills and knowledge in this area to help kids who might need a bit more support. Off the mats, my day job is managing a training organisation, on the weekends I enjoy camping and snowboarding.
